I am thrilled to have the chance to share with you the “My Second Act” website. There is so much that takes place in this phase of our lives and we are going to delve into all of that here.
I’ve been amazed at the stories I’ve heard from women just like you. Knowing how much this information means to you has emboldened me to focus my passions even more to help make our midlife years the best they can be for all of us.
A woman confided in me that she and her husband may have even divorced during this time of peri (or pre) menopause and she only hung on because of her children. She had no idea that these symptoms would pass and there would be ways for her to feel better and more balanced sooner rather than later.
I am committed to helping all of us meet the second part of our lives with health, energy and fulfilling relationships.
You may have already formed your “I am” statement to help you in realizing all you have to offer and can use it to refer back to when in a decision making mode in your life. If not, we are here to help.
The focus of this website is going to be to address the issues that we face in the menopausal years, whether emotional, physical or spiritual, (although they are all intertwined as we well know).
My personal search for health and balance as well as my own study and nursing career over the last 30 years has led me to offer this information to the world. I feel compelled to help women like us be informed and educated in our own health.
